Tech Reflection

This week we were at tech and our challenge was to control the mBot. We learnt how to make it work using coding. My group was Lilly, Afatia and Liletina. My favourite part was when we had to use our coding skills to turn the robot on. It was hard for me to get the lights to change colour but when we worked as a team, we worked it out.

Summarising

This week for Summarising we were doing this task we had to be in a groups in 8 in my group is Ong,Matthew, Rj, Pouvi,Karlos,Giovanni,Diana then we did a lost of words in the Summarising Site in our groups then we had to do is my team and then my group we had to do now is to make the other side the the words then the last thing to do is go on the last side and my group and me had to put the ones that was on the second slide for the words then we put it together then we had to do a few sentences about the words.

Tech

Today we were at tech then we went in the class room then we sit every were then we sit down on the chairs then we had to go on this site called Panmure Bridge Year7 Semester 1 2020 Robotics then you will see it. Then year seven was making a Robotics about how to make it work so the year 7 went to make a group of 4 in my group was Lilly,Afatia,Liletina and me then we went outside and we did a game. Then we went back inside we were doing some others site to work then we were going back to school then we do some work at panmuer bridge school so we so we had to do so much work at tech and my part is when she get all of us a robot and when were making he robot to work but some of us robot was flat so we put it back in the case.

Phonics 'a' sound

The girl has an apple and her hat.  The man was playing catch with a ball in the park.

This week for phonics we worked as a group to list all the words we knew with the 'a' sound.

We came up with 35 words. We then made a word ladder and came up with words up to 10 letters.

Then we wrote some silly sentences with some of the words from our list.

We also use 3 words to write sentences. These words were apple, hat and catch.

Our warm up was 2 words 1 minute, I think this is really fun.

National Current Events

This week for reading we have been looking at national news for current events.We have been looking at news articles to put under reading topics such as Timeliness, Continuity, Oddity, Relevance, Magnitude, Unexpectedness, Impact and more. The news we needed to find had to be national which meant in the country, We have worked in groups and in our group was Victoria, Ellenora, Diana, Chris, Ong, and myself.

This week for summer learning journey W1 we had to find some fact about two people name Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart and then we had to find fact about them then we go on a Venn Diagram to write about them then we go and then we had to find some staff about them. Then we had  to do both of them what they did together.
