LI: to write a persuasive review

This week for writing we did a ball review, we went outside to see if the high bounce ball is better than the Tennis Ball or the Tennis Ball is better than the high bounce ball to check then me and my groups said high bounce ball because we can see it when we play handball.

Reading

This week for reading we did not like the others for our main idea is like you com the words together  but first we talk as a groups  about when one sentence don't belong to the others we play a game that you had find one sentence don't belong to the others and highlight the wrong sentence.

Kiwi Sport

LI: to learn water safety skills.

Our first lesson for water safety was used to get  into groups of 2 and show
the instructions our swimming ability. I was Livvy's groups.

In Livvy group we practised kicking in the water streamline pose.

Writing

L.I To Identify persuasive text.
For writing we learned the meaning of persuasive. Persuasive means convincing someone  to believe you. Our Task was that we had 5 different kind  of persuasive text.
The 5 different persuasive text were-Letter,Speech,advertisement,article and review.
I learned the meaning of  persuasive.
I learned by listing to the teacher and finding out the meaning of the word that put in 5 persuasive text and put it to the right boxes

Kiwi Can

LI: To learn what the emotions of other people.
For Kiwi Can our theme was resilience and our topic was emotions. We stared Kiwi Can with an activity, our activity was called the silent disco. for our activity, someone had to wear an headphone and the others had to act our an emotion, and the person on the headphone had to guess the emotion. then we finished Kiwi Can with the song. The song went: Kiwi Can says, if you feel it, let it out, don't doubt, just get it all out then we did the jkq the last part when we finished kiwi Can.

 

Duff Theatre

LI: to read lots of books.
We had a Duffy Theatre show. There were three rules when watching the show, they were: when they ask for help you go, when they tell you to be quiet you do it and have fun. The show was talking about how Duffy got stuck in a game called Magic Blocks. My favourite part of the show was when they danced at the stage to get back out the game.

Math

LI to learn the 2D shapes. Today we are doing a 2D shape today and a triangle is like a sandwitch and all these shape has something the lookes like that shape.We watch a video about 2D shape and we watch it and there are shapes and they say what thing look like them. So a octagon is a shape that make a stop sign.

Reading

L.I: to categories words      

Categories are group of simile thing. The Title of these groups is the main idea is something describes words and the main idea about lemon, plum, pear, mango,kiwifruit,pineapple,cherry main for fruit and toe,nose ankle for body parts.

LI: To state Our likes 

This week for Maori we we learned about what we like in Maori we say He Pai ki ahau (What I like) .We started of by doing a word problem. We had to find the words when we finished we could started doing a our poster. and being it into your blog and put it on the must Do list

Games : Go home Stay Home and Octopus 

Learning : Honesty,Integrity,Reliability,Responsibility.

This week for kiwi can we recapped about what we learnt in the past few weeks for this term.After we recapped what we learnt we got told that we won the points game for getting the most points. After that we got right into our games. We had a chose to play the game that we want to play.

We chose the games go home stay home and the game that we played last was octopus.

We went inside and got our prizes for winning then went back to room 6

This week For inqury me and my group were making a rocket that experimenting about Rocket fins for a expamle like no fins or 2 fins or 4 fours and we had to work on a DLO about the Rockets fins and DLO it talks about which one is going to be the futher and make a meaning to it .  I have learnt that 2 fins was the one that makes a rocket futher because it eqaul weight to the rocket and it was really fun doing this activity about rockets fins and when we were firing it we need the right angle to shoot it.
