For this activity I had to find out the some place to visit in Japan and we had to have facts about japan doing this activity I learnt that japan is a beautiful country and it has lost of towns in japan.

Rube Goldberg

LI: To make a working Rube Goldberg machine using the six simple machines

For our rube Goldberg machines our challenge was to role a dice. I had to use the incline plain and the pulley. When my group started to build, we started of with two incline plains then we had a pulley with two cups. One had cubes in it and one had dices on the other side. Then we started testing

 it. We started with John rolling a spare on a long with the spare hitting my hand to roll a cylinder. When the cylinder hits Jarome's hand, he tips out the cubes in the cup then the dices in the cup will drop the the ground and the dice will be coming out rolling. What we would do differently is change the pulley into a wedge.

Rugby Events

LI: To apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.

For this activity I had to find out the some significant events that happened during different RWCs.

By doing this activity I learnt that  rugby is interesting..

Activity World Time

  LI:To apply Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry skills to RWC activities.

For this activity I had to find out the different time zones of the countries shown in the table. These time zones had to do with when the final game in Japan at 6pm on 2nd November compared to the time zone in other countries.

Time zones are different in the Northern and Southern hemispheres.

Maths

LI:To What is Flip, Rotation, and Translation and Refection

This week for maths we did  Reflection, Translation, we made bomb grids we had to plan and a route I around the bomb in the grid we could go four a direction up down left right. They are doing the maths is a to do a be we left or right an bomb and grid book maths and because is a maths is to look at the maths is flip is a maths.

LI:To summarise and retell a text.
This week for SSR Selfie i did the book called Scary Spiders. My part is when her nana get Scared of Spiders and she said to her nana plastic.

Writing

LI: To create a persuasive advertisement.
we had to plan and make a poster for writing and we had to plan and make we had to sell something Mr Wong I chose lamborghini-29 on our poster we needed to have a Tittle, a picture, a description and its fast.

Reading

LI: To ask where, what and who questions about a text.

This week for reading we were learning about what,where,who question.First we chose a book and we read a book from your own groups and next was we Screencastify. And we have to ask question of where,who and what question when we do Screencastify. And last we put our video on our own blog and blog about it. 

Kiwi Can

LI:To cope with challenges.
We learnt how to face our challenges and exeirence /attempt them.
We looked at 3 different types of challenges and wrote about our feelings when we face those challenges.
We figured out coping strategies in groups of three.

This week for SSR Selfie i did the book called Cyeles plants my part was when animals come on a plants.

Writing

LI.to create a persuasive advertisement.

 This week for writing we had to do one slide and for that slide we had to
do our,Advertisement type,title,Description,size,smell,what it use for and Imagery then
our cost.And what i use for my picture was a Lamborghini  i used it because it was easy to write about.

Maths

Find a successful past add arrows to show the successful path to write sentences to explain the successful path these sentence needed to explain how the arrows moved turn or rotate 1/4 or 90 clockwise and anticlockwise we had to slide up down left right the thing we did was a bom grid

we had to find the right path.

Duffy Role model

This week for Duffy Role model Assembly we had a guest to come at punmuer brige school and talk about his job. our guest was Jaime Wall.  Jaime Wall  job is to see the all blacks playing from different teams in rugby. After that, he told us about what happened in the movie.Then he had two book one he write his own and he friends dad give him,the book called men in black and bother in black.The he talk about countries like: Italy, Argentina, Japan, France, England & Australia. He wrote a book called brothers in black. Jamie has worked for Maori Tv, Radio NZ, News Hub & Stuff. He wrote about: All Blacks, Warriors, UFC boxing, Cricket, Super Rugby & Fifa World Cup. He makes boring subjects interesting by making things.

Reading

LI: Today we are learning what and who question. This week for reading we are learning about what and who question .What question is a question like what is on the chair? The cat is on the chair.Who is Ana's brother? Ana's brother is Tai. Like that question I just writ.And I made a video for you to watch my video.

This week for cyber smart we were learning about print design rules. We were learning it on our inquiry michiens. My inquiry michiens was screw.

LI: to learn how to overcome challenges.

This week for Kiwi Can we were learning how to overcome challenges.Challenges means difficult tasks. 

Many challenges that we are given are like quizzes,playing tag and more. To learn about challenges we played puzzle challenges. We have to be in a circle the kiwi can leader have to say six tasks that were jump in,jump out,turn around,touch the ground,look up and look down. After the kiwi can leader mix them up then say what they like to say.

Screw

 LI:To learn and create a screw

This week we are learning about a screw, a screw is a tool that helps transport things up hill. We had to watch two video's, one of the video's is saying what is a screw and the second one is how to make one. Once we finish watching the videos in groups of five we had to try and make a screw only using a stick, tubes and tape and we tested it out with a bucket of water. When came back inside we had to fill in a google drawing that has questions about our screw that we made. Once we answered the questions we drew a picture of a screw transporting water through it under the last question.

Maths

LI:what is flip slide true or rotation,reflection,translation.Person

This week for Maths we were doing some flip rotation and we had to make two slide. The fist slide were the triangles and we had to flip rotation on the triangles. The second one was the person one and we had to flip rotation that one to.

What do you want to sell

                                                LI: to sell our advertisement with Mr Wong

This week we were learning about what we want to sell to our teacher Mr Wong. I was selling Mr Wong a Lamborghini So I inserted a Lamborghini and named the tittle of it. Then we had to do loaded words and emotive texts. We had to look at 2 poster's and watch videos. Then we had to type in the words in the poster and what they say in the video
